In 2003 John Egsgard had been in the car business since 1988 for fifteen years. John had started out in auto body shops as a service rep, estimator and finally as a claims specialist working with insurance companies on behalf of the body shops. After his time at the body shops with his insurance experience under his belt John got involved in the insurance replacement aspect with both rental and leased vehicles. John worked for a National leasing company and in his last years in the industry with a luxury/exotic automobile boutique business. A few years earlier John's brother Christian had started a traffic ticket defense business after leaving the police force…..John began spending days off helping out at his brother's office.

John saw all the good work Christian was doing helping people in court and was instantly interested in the business. So in October of 2003 John said goodbye forever to the car business and turned in his BMW to begin helping people in the traffic ticket business.
